Job Description
This person is a self-starter with a strong attitude towards creating new tools and dealing with complex data systems. This role will support a recently developed organization and will operate across a matrix environment. Reporting into the EMEA Corporate Commercial Senior Finance Manager and in dotted line with CDD Senior Finance Director, the position will become the Finance partner of the SDG Commercial EEMEA Region”


Responsibilities:

  • Support the Commercial Organization through Sales Reporting, Proforma Reviews, Commercial MBR and QBR reporting for the EEMEA SDG Region as well as any additional ad hoc requests for information from the SDG Leadership and EMEA Corporate Commercial Finance team.
  • Prepare monthly internal financial package to track the progress of all business initiatives (KPIs). Continuously identify opportunities to improve profitability (including price realization)
  • Partner with EEMEA Commercial leadership to define and implement cross-divisional growth initiatives.
  • Develop customer / segment level sales, margin, and profitability reports. Support Commercial team in analyzing trends and in forecasting regional performances. Produce reports designed to highlight current business opportunities and identify gaps to drive growth.
  • Manage the budgetary process for the EEMEA Region. Assist Commercial Management team to develop Commercial budgets consistent with organization goals. Prepare and distribute monthly variance report/analysis to the Commercial Management team. Advise management with budget risk and opportunities.
  • Manage all functions as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the EEMEA Region regarding HFM, Data Warehouse, CRM and ERP projects.
    • Ensure system operating as designed
    • Identify enhancements to improve effectiveness for finance/commercial users
    • Ensure data integrity and support questions related to databases reconciliations
  • Lead the contracting processes for the EEMEA Region (prepare proforma analysis on quotes/tenders, review of terms & conditions and coordination with Legal department, run approval process, align with Divisions for appropriate cost reviews and profitability assumptions).
  • Manage the contract compliance process for the region to include reporting and communicating with the commercial teams on customer status.
  • Responsible for leveraging SFDC processes including pipeline review, bid analysis and response, contract management and other reporting.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and/ or significant relevant experience (financial reporting).
  • Leadership experience.
  • HFM, Excel and PowerPoint expert
  • Corporate Data Marts, Sales Data Warehouse, or Cognos experience
  • Travel: This position may require up to 30% travel, some of which will take place outside of the typical office hours.
