For the enhancement of our team we are looking for a
Supply Chain Management Specialist (m/f)
Location: Hennigsdorf/Berlin

The Supply Chain Management Specialist will play a key role in the commercial success for CascadionTM SM Clinical Analyzer, a highly innovative fully automated LCMSMS system specifically designed for clinical laboratories.

This position provides purchasing, inventory, warehouse, distribution management services and customer service for Cascadion and will report to the Supply Chain Manager of Microgenics CDD.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Conducting the planning tool “daily order review” process.
  • Working with Supply Chain Manager to execute the MRP requirements when necessary.
  • Communication to Cascadion Customers / Marketing / Sales late delivery dates for sales orders with risks and escalating complaints
  • Execution of the replenishment process, issue PO’s to and obtain confirmations from suppliers on PO’s, follow-up on late orders and partial orders.
  • Analyzing root causes of stock outs and preparation of countermeasures.
  • Recalculating orders and requirements as needed by analyzing trends in demand, changes in lead time, minimum order quantities, standard packs and safety stock levels.
  • Following-up on open orders and partial shipments and expedites as required.
  • Monitoring weekly inventory status and ensures compliance with inventory targets
  • Implementing material master changes, updates, new part entry and ECO’s into purchasing process.
  • Working with Warehouse, Quality, and Regulatory Management to ensure timely customs clearance, goods inspection, receipt into inventory and damaged / return goods disposition.
  • Responsible for managing hazardous waste disposal in the warehouse in accordance with all applicable regulations for returned and damaged goods.
  • Acting independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
  • Scale-up for expected business growth.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Completed Vocational Training / Commercial Education or comparable is required. Equivalent relevant experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Sound experience of inventory, purchasing and planning experience as well as customer service experienceis required
  • Must have worked with ERP system, SAP preferred.
  • Experience with SAP MRP replenishment process and demand planning a plus.
  • Good knowledge in Customs management is required.
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are standard.
  • Proficient English skills in business writing and speaking are required.
