Job Description

Your work will have real-world impact, and you’ll be supported in achieving your career goals. The Computer Vision/Software Engineer will be based in Richardson, Texas.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Explore and solve complex problems at the intersection of Computer Vision, Image Processing, Applied Machine Learning, and Robotics
  • Research, Develop, Prototype, and Benchmark novel, accurate, and robust algorithms for our next generation system:
    • Real-time object detection and segmentation
    • Object tracking
    • Robot guidance algorithms
    • Image improvement algorithms
  • Create image datasets for off-line development, benchmarking, verification, and testing
  • Maintain, Analyze, and Improve deployed applications on existing systems
  • Test and document all software implemented according to development processes
  • Translates business and technical requirements into detailed design
  • Collaborate with team members from prototyping to production to help advancing the progression of the entire project

Participate in team sessions with other team members to analyze, develop requirements, and make recommendations for moderate to complex systems


Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires strong theoretical foundations, excellent software development skills, sound scientific method, and outstanding work ethic, as well as excellent communication and people skills to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary and diverse team environment. Broad proficiency in the foundations of optical computer vision including feature detection/tracking, 3D geometry, control/navigation, image processing, and object segmentation

  • MS in computer science, physics, mathematics or other related field
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Computer Vision or Image Processing algorithm design and development
  • Extensive experience with mathematical and analytical techniques, including linear algebra, geometry, and machine learning, and their applications to object tracking and segmentation
  • C, C++, Matlab, Python


Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in Computer Science
  • Experience with Deep Learning
  • Published research in top-tier conferences
  • Projects on GitHub
  • C#, .Net
  • Mathematica
