We have a great opportunity for a Senior Customer Care Representative to join our Consumables Customer Care team in our site in Inchinnan, Paisley. This role will offer great variety and an opportunity to join a fast moving global organisation. The position is initially been offered for a 9 month fixed term contract.

You will liaise with internal and external customers via phone & email handling order requests, queries, managing the process for escalated customer queries, while providing a professional and proficient service. This is a busy team, therefore flexibility and adaptability are essential along with excellent attention to detail.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all telephone / fax / written / web orders within the divisions guidelines, relay price and availability of products to customers where necessary
  • Maintaining daily customer service reports
  • Playing a key role within the implementation of new assignments and projects
  • Developing and delivering training and materials to support departmental needs
  • Solving/escalating systems issues
  • Providing cover to the supporting Manager when required
  • Providing a high standard of customer service support to our customers
  • Maintaining and creating new customers accounts
  • Assessing individual customer requirements and direct activities to appropriate departments

Who we are looking for:
  • A self motivated , enthusiastic, a positive individual who can work as part of a team but also work on their own initiative
  • Experience working in a customer care environment, liaising with corporate customers
  • Previous office experience is required
  • Fully proficient is MS Office
  • Is confident and articulate and able to engage at all levels
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise their workload
  • Must have the ability to identify and solve problems and to multi task under deadlines
