Software Intern

Essential Functions
  • Perform all phases of software development including design, implementation, testing, integration, maintenance of software for the company’s cell analysis instruments
  • Development and support of GUI, analysis, communications, and instrument control software
  • Integration of algorithms & mathematical functions for identification and quantification of data collected by instruments
  • Interact with verification and validation teams to create test requirements based on system software requirements and design
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong math/statistics background
  • Cloud (AWS/Azure)
  • Docker
  • WPF/XAML/UWP
  • Embedded OS experience

Qualifications
  • Working toward BS in Computer Science, BS Computer Engineering degree
  • Proficient in C#, including writing real-time multi-threaded software with tasks
  • Proficient in Visual Studio
  • Proficient in Subversion, TFS, Git, or Mercurial
  • Knowledge of design patterns
  • Knowledge of Unit Testing and TDD
  • A passion for writing clean code and following best practices
  • Team player and clear communicator
