This position is responsible for, however is not limited to assisting in all phases of manufacturing including: room and equipment set up, room and inventory maintenance. Staging and weighing of job components, initiating manufacturing paperwork, reconciliation of batches, purging and cleaning rooms and equipment. Ability to troubleshoot equipment. Other responsibilities will include accuracy in documentation, knowledge of GPM and the ability to enter information into various computer programs, comprehending Standard Operating Procedures and supervisor instructions to ensure compliance with customer specifications cGMP’s and Fisher Clinical Service’s Safety policies. This position, will require the employee to learn the required tasks along with acceptable attendance to advance to the position of Manufacturing Line Leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Applies Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision of the 4 I’s: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and involvement
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Comprehend batch paperwork and supervisor instructions to understand the manufacturing procedures
  • Assist in all phases of manufacturing
  • Ensure room cleanliness and that rooms are stocked with required supplies
  • Load tables and provide tablet/capsule verification for over encapsulation activities
  • Assemble and operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with SOPs and cGMPs
  • Balance set up and weight verification
  • Perform in-process checks and sampling
  • Meet company attendance requirements
  • May assist in other areas within Fisher Clinical Services as needed
  • Other duties as assigned based on business need

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED, ability to read, write, and complete basic mathematical calculations
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability/Skills: This position requires hand-eye coordination, manual and finger dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks and learn new ones with assistance from supervisors and fellow workers. This position also requires some basic mechanical abilities and the ability to make entries into various PC programs
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write (legibly) in English language without assistance
  • Must have excellent verbal and written skills
  • Must have basic computer skills to include, but not limited to: data entry, log in/out, screen and program navigation, and website navigation
  • Must have working mathematical skills for addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages
  • Must be able to stand continuously (95%-100%)
  • Must be able to walk frequently (50%-79%)
  • Must be able to sit occasionally (1%-49%)
  • Must be able to life and/or carry up to 50 lbs frequently (50%-79%)
  • Must be able to bend frequently (50%-79%)
  • Must be able to squat occasionally (1%-49%)
  • Must be able to reach over shoulder essentially (80%-94%)
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) certification required, including filtering face masks, PAPR, N-95 masks, half face masks, and safety glasses
  • Vision requirement for this position: close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision (at 20 feet or more), color vision, peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up or down or to the left or right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (three-dimensional vision), and the ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to problem solve and troubleshoot
  • Must be able to work in heat/cold environments frequently (50%-79%)
  • Will be exposed to moving equipment occasionally (1%-49%)
  • Must be able to work in damp environment occasionally (1%-49%)
  • Will be exposed to heights occasionally (1%-49%)
  • Allergies to certain drugs may disqualify individuals from performing these duties
