Scientist, Analytical Chemistry

Dynabeads products produced in Norway are used in break-through technologies, lifesaving assays and clinical applications. Our customers are world leading pharma and diagnostics companies that have chosen us as their business partner. Through excellent collaboration both internally and externally, we are facing high expectations to the quality of work. Measuring quality in a reliable way is a key requirement from both customer and regulatory aspects.

We are now looking for a new colleague to join our Analytics team. The position is a 1-year temporary position. This position is an important resource for method development, qualification of analytical instruments and validation of analytical methods used to characterize and analyze our magnetic polymer beads portfolio.

The Analytics team is organized together with the Process Development team, a team of in total 18 people with a strong scientific background, analytical method and process knowledge. We work in cross-functional teams in the company and are responsible for development, validation and implementation of new methods and processes, technology transfer and support for products to life science, diagnostics and clinical markets.

Your key responsibilities:
  • Subject Matter Expert in Analytical chemistry
  • Analytical method development - planning, conducting and reporting experiments
  • Method validation
  • Instrument qualification
  • Participate in production and quality control support activities
  • Prepare technical reports
  • Interface with and coordinate collaboration with other departments in the

We believe you have the following background:
  • Minimum Master of Science or equivalent within Analytical Chemistry
  • Knowledge in using statistical experimental design and data analysis tools
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and a Scandinavian language.
  • Experience with ISO-13485 and related requirements for analytical methods desired
  • Good understanding of a modern manufacturing organization
  • Experience from relevant industry
  • Track record of delivering results in the areas of quality, time and cost
