Job Description


• Partner with site supervisors to develop and implement EHS requirements and programs

• Lead compliance of local regulatory requirements (KOSHA, Chemical controls Act, DG Act, etc.), including corporate EHS policies and requirements

• Provide assistance and advice on EHS issues to make recommendations to site management

• Lead detailed incident investigations and root cause analysis

• Lead risk assessment to evaluate various tasks and provide appropriate solutions to prevent and reduce incidents

• Provide required EHS resources and knowledge to site employees with required safety training

• Develop & perform site safety inspection programs on a regular basis

• Establish and operate monthly EHS committee in order to decide on important matters concerning EHS.

• Monitor EHS KPI progress on a regular basis and communicate with related stakeholders

• Lead employees to identify/report existing or potential hazards


• 3+ years of professional EHS experience preferably in chemical industry

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, chemistry or equivalent

• Good English capability is required to communicate with global EHS organization

• Highly self-motivated, self-managed and ethical person

• Certified Industrial Hygiene or Dangerous Goods management Professional
