Job Description

Participate in the definition of guidelines related to union relations, together with the HR leadership, participating in its definition and operationalization during collective bargaining processes and / or crisis situations, through evaluation of the demands,

  • orientation to negotiators and management of necessary documentation. Draft minutes of the respective collective bargaining agreements, as well as analysis of claims list; control, execute and plan labor agreements of Thermo Fisher legal entities in Latin America;
  • Follow-up of union movements, scenarios and trends, defining economic and social guidelines and drawing up contingency plans, minimizing impacts on business and organizational climate. Updating and raising awareness of company local leadership
  • Create a knowledge base of HR topics related to licenses, termination, admission, collective agreements and instruments of agreement (variable remuneration, for example) of each country in Latin America;
  • Follow up on possible inspections of the Ministry of Labor and Employment (DRT), the Public Labor Ministry and the National Social Security Institute (INSS);
  • Control, together with the Employee Relations and Legal Departments, the labor lawsuits of the institution. Develop, implement and monitor indicators related to the cause of labor lawsuits. Support and guide, as directed by legal counsel, company statutory representatives; Follow up on direct and indirect inspections and labor law suits;
  • Keep updated the instructions, policies and guidelines of the organization in accordance with current labor and social security legislation;
  • Manage consultations with external legal counsel;
  • Implement actions to promote alignment with the Thermo Fisher Culture, including compliance with the Thermo Fisher Code of Conduct / Code of Ethics.
