Scientist II, Manufacturing Science

Dynabeads products produced in Norway are used in break-through technologies, lifesaving assays and clinical applications. Our customers are world leading pharma and diagnostics companies that have chosen us as their business partner. Through excellent collaboration both internally and externally, we are facing high expectations to the quality of work. Measuring quality in a reliable way is a key requirement from both customer and regulatory aspects.

The Manufacturing Science team currently consists of 13 driven and competent colleagues based at our site in Lillestrøm. We now need to find another great team member to join for the remainder of 2018. We hope to find the right person internally.

Your key responsibilities:
  • Participate in the development of magnetic beads with focus on process development, process improvements, and process validation.
  • Support manufacturing on trouble shooting on new and existing processes
  • Identify and implement process and equipment improvements
  • Plan, design and execute experimental work in the laboratory
  • Establish and maintain right level of documentation
  • Interact with application specialists in other parts of the organization as R&D, QC and production teams

We believe you have the following background:
  • MSc in process engineering or organic chemistry. BSc in process engineering or chemistry with several years of experience from relevant industry
  • Good documentation skills
  • Enjoy practical work in the lab
  • Self-driven, like to take initiative and drive for improvements
  • Positive, flexible and structured
  • Fluent in a Scandinavian language, as well as strong in English
