The Account Manager Electronics is responsible for owning all sales/ account management responsibilities of specified Thermo Fisher Scientific products within his territory and for ensuring the achievements of bookings, revenues and business goals.

Primary responsibilities include the following:
  • Define, align and implement Account Strategy for Electronics markets.
  • Work in teams with other Account Managers and Business Development staff
  • Confirm all system configurations, specifications and acceptance conditions are appropriate for closing orders
  • Be a key partner by managing product issues in the field by working closely with the service group and application team
  • Plans & schedules Technology Review Meetings both INTERNAL (as required) and EXTERNAL customer
  • Coordinates development and beta activities between Company engineering, marketing & technology at the assigned customer
  • Assists in developing & nurturing strategic partnership with all sites of specific customer on global basis
  • Attend technology conferences and seminars, when appropriate
  • Build a network within semiconductor technology community as a whole, with metrology & Failure Analysis focus
  • Build and utilize an effective network of information sources for semiconductor device technology
  • Support other processes and equipment related technology assessment or marketing project support
  • Meets with each product team to optimize strategic relationships
  • Assists in generating and maintaining equipment forecasts, aligned with Company booking and revenue targets
  • Regular domestic and occasional overseas travel will be required
This position is ideal for an experienced professional wanting to be involved with a dynamic team and exposed to a constant variety of customer application areas.

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
  • Detailed knowledge of semiconductor device physics, process technology, process integration issues, electrical characterization methods, and fab manufacturing requirements is highly desirable
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with customers, cross-functional team employees with tact and diplomacy
  • Must have a BSc in Engineering, BSc in Chemistry or BSc in Physics in related field
  • Requires 2 years’ market experience in the semiconductor industry
  • At least 2 years' experience in Sales is required
  • Process / device development, process integration, process engineers, strategic marketing management, or equivalent experience is of advantage
  • Up to two(2) years' of additional required experience may be substituted for the Master’s Degree
  • Fluent German and English language skills (written & spoken)
