Job Description

Serum Reserve Coordinator (Europe) - 12 Month FTC

Position Objective:

Allocation and management of Serum Reserves in Europe.

Essential Functions:

  • Liaises with Sales, Distributors and Customer Service functions in Europe to receive and process requests for serum reserves.
  • Liaises with Sales, Distributors and Customer Service functions in Europe to to progress allocated Pending Reserves.
  • Liaises with Serum Supply functions worldwide to source product for serum reserves and general inventory.
  • Reviews and reports on serum inventories held in Europe; identifies needs for stock transfers and product purchases.
  • Receives and allocates FBS and Other Sera Reserve Requests for the European Division
  • Liaises with the sales functions in Europe to manage the reserve inventory within business guidelines.
  • Manages the FBS and Other Sera inventories within the European Division within the guidelines set by Serum Business Manager, Europe.
  • Provides monthly performance reports to Serum Business Manager, Europe
  • May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Contacts:
  • Liaises with the Serum Suppliers to the European Division regards the supply of serum. Suppliers are the intercompany locations at Grand Island USA and Auckland NZ, and a third-party supplier, Serum Technologies, Germany.
  • Liaises with the Logistics/Planning function in Scotland regards issuance of purchase orders for serum products to Serum Suppliers and the subsequent receipt of stock purchased.
  • Liaises with Sales, Distributors and Customer Services functions within the European Division to ensure the effective communication of their Serum Reserve requirements, and their subsequent processing through the allocation and acceptance stages.
  • Liaises with the Logistics/Planning function in Scotland with regard to scheduling of product reworks.
  • Liaises with the Warehousing functions to progress the receipt of stock purchases and despatch of serum orders.
  • Liaises directly with customers and distributors regards reserve management as required.
Education:

Must be capable of learning and operating order processing systems (Oracle and web based systems), and have the PC skills to work with spreadsheet.

Experience:
  • Requires experience in a customer services type environment and be proficient in using an automated order processing system.
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel Software.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills including verbal, written, presentation
  • Requires good inter-personal skills.
  • Requires good organisational and prioritization skills.
  • Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and desire to succeed
  • Strong capability to interface effectively across different functions and teams to gain commitment and achieve desired results
