Job Title: Sr. Manager, Marketing
Location: Tewksbury, MA

The CTS Sr. Marketing Manager is accountable for promoting the success of the CTS product lines within the component reliability marketplace. Close ties to our customers as well as colleagues in EFA and MSD is a necessary component to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall marketing leadership for the CTS portfolio
    • Accountable owner for the overall external face of the CTS product line
    • Develop and coordinate CTS sales and marketing campaign events(trade shows, customer visits, demos, etc.)
    • Explore potential opportunities above and beyond our current markets
    • Work with R&D, ops, sales and other internal stakeholders to ensure understanding of our strategy
    • Resolves questions or conflicts that impact the CTS business
    • Great business partner both internally and externally
  • Near-term business
    • Helps drive quarterly revenue for the CTS product line to support the Semiconductor BU forecast
    • Supports the sales team to drive bookings through TRMs, special customer meetings, developing targeted collateral etc.
    • Uses MSD’s enterprise systems effectively
    • Supports account managers and sales management to provide compelling “why buy” collateral
  • Communications and training
    • Drives regular reporting for market activities (competitive and overall market movement)
    • Produces sales tools and sales training to demonstrate the value of the CTS products and services to account managers and customers
    • Evangelist for our solutions internally and externally
    • Marketing communications and portfolio marketing for the CTS products
  • Product and service team market presence
    • Develops world-class presence for CTS for products, service and applications
    • Insures commercial and support team members are leveraging EFA, and MSD environments per their roles and responsibilities
  • Medium and Long-range planning
    • Supports the long-term strategic planning for the CTS portfolio to maximize long-term growth
      • Drives accurate and actionable VOC
      • Understands and effectively communicates the business implications of long-term industry trends that impact product planning
      • Anticipates and analyzes competitive threats or opportunities
      • Understands and promotes a value-based strategy
    • Helps identify high-ROI linkages to other products in Thermo Fisher Scientific’s portfolio
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS or MS in science or engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in Semiconductor Capital Equipment applications, marketing, general management or other related functions (ESD qualification a plus)
  • Specialized knowledge in electrical test, electrical failure analysis, electrical test, chip design and/or metrology desired.
  • The Sr. Marketing Manager will be working in a highly matrixed, global team environment and must be comfortable working across organizational, cultural and geographical boundaries. He or she must be resourceful, flexible, data-driven, and able to lead through influence.
  • This position is based in Tewksbury, and will have travel >40% within the US and abroad. Any candidate must be able to travel internationally with ease.
