Managing, motivating and developing an application team in accordance with the management principles, policies and applicable laws of the company.
Ensuring continuous market and competitive surveillance so as to produce necessary sales tools and marketing materials to support sales activities against competition.
Ensuring understand of the implemented sales strategy and marketing concepts. Leading the team to participate marketing activities, such as demo, onsite application support, seminars, workshops, trade shows, etc., so as to generate qualified sales leads.
Provide appropriate technical solutions to prospective customers, manage the team to conduct customer demo, perform sample analysis and Participate sales processes as required to lead to successful closure of sales.
Leading the team to provide application assistance or training to sales or support channels (internal).
Manage customer satisfaction with the team of all installed customers through effective coordination with Customer Support team.
Education and Training Requirements
A graduate degree with a technology background in chemistry or physical chemistry analysis, or material science.
At least 5 years’ experience of chemical analysis.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
A broad knowledge of chemical analysis, installation and administration of chemical analysis instruments; analytical and communication skills are required for this job.
The application manager needs to have an extensive knowledge of chemical analysis, to give direct application support to customers and technical support to sales team.
He/she needs to have troubleshooting expertise and extensive knowledge about scientific instruments and applications.
