Business Job Title: Documentation Specialist, Manufacturing and Packaging Reports To: Secondary Packaging Manager, Ambient

Position Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Job Description Summary:
Perform the Operations batch record review for completed jobs in Manufacturing and Packaging (Primary/Ambient/Cold) in accordance with local procedures and cGMP under the direction of the Packaging Manager(s).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately complete Operations GMP reviews of Electronic Batch Records including ELPRO
  • Be the main point of contact for QA for batch release and document review in Manufacturing and Packaging
  • Participate in daily updates for batch release priority
  • Activities to be carried out in accordance with statutory, regulatory and company policies and procedures
  • Maintain good housekeeping and promote a safe working environment
  • Highlight and address potential Health and Safety and Quality risks, near misses and accidents to Line Management
  • Proactively partake in continuous improvement initiatives and support their implementation where appropriate
  • Support the preparation of new and /or review and enhance existing Standard Operating Procedures for related processes
  • Identify, escalate and support investigations for any identified internal and/or external non-conformances in conjunction with the Manufacturing and Packaging Quality Improvement Team
  • Undertake any other duties on an ad-hoc basis as required by your Line Manager

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • 5 x GCSE or equivalent experience/qualification (including English and Mathematics)
  • Worked within a GMP environment
  • Worked within an operational environment
  • Experience of working without direct supervision
  • Responsibility and accountability for quality of own work
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Competent in use of electronic and computerised systems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven problem solving and decision making skills
