Production Operator II

Location

This position will work on-site in Greenville, SC.

How Will You Make an Impact?

You will be responsible for the execution of daily tasks associated with the manufacture of pharmaceutical products, including but not limited to the set-up of equipment, the performance of manufacturing steps according to issued instructions and the disassembly and cleaning of various pieces of production equipment.

What will you do?

The primary job function for Production Operator II is batch startup and monitoring of all critical processing steps. This includes (but is not limited to) equipment status verification prior to batch startup, raw material verification pre-startup (upon staging) and charging of reagents for processing.

Other duties include:

  • Accurately and clearly complete all required documentation and calculations related to batch documentation.
  • Assemble, disassemble and clean equipment and process rooms.
  • Operate both equipment and testing instruments effectively. This includes performing LOD and pH analysis. Ensures testing documentation is properly documented.
  • Accurately weigh and process materials in accordance to issued operating instructions and/or work order instructions.
  • Complete knowledge and understanding of computer controlled equipment systems including interaction with OIT.

How will you get there?

Education

High school diploma or equivalent is required. BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry strongly preferred.

Experience

1 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing/mechanical environment required. Experience with reactors, or experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP environment is strongly preferred.

Equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered.
