How Will You Make an Impact?
In this key role, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of budgeting and forecasting process for the PSG Commercial Operation including Sales, Marketing and Business Management functions


What will you do?
  • Support commercial operating expenses and headcount; ensure cost controls and expense visibility are tightly managed
  • Support global sales compensation plan design including financial impact analysis, and manage quarterly sales commission payment/accrual reconciliation
  • Develop models to support sales deal valuation including large concept deal oversight through profit and loss evaluation and providing key inputs to negotiating parameters
  • Participate in the preparation of the commercial quarterly business review presentations by developing standard reporting and analytics
  • Collaborate across the Commercial organization, Divisions/Business Units (BU), Global Operations and Group FP&A to identify issues, resolve problems and speed up processes; drive reporting standardization, alignment, and best practice sharing across a matrix organization
  • Support PSG Commercial integration efforts and revenue synergy tracking and reporting
  • Provide analysis to establish growth targets for PSG $3B+ in revenue, including participation in the five year planning process
  • Analyze and interpret bookings/revenue/backlog results and forecasts, providing key business and financial guidance to the organization
  • Implement global processes that are scalable, streamlined and effective in meeting the evolving needs of a dynamic PSG organization
  • Perform ad hoc analysis, analytical modeling, and compile data for performance metrics
  • Set the example of cross-functional involvement and continuous process development.


How will you get there?


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a complex, multinational, multi-site environment
  • Strong and persuasive communicator: essential to have credibility within a dynamic, challenging environment
  • Desire to develop processes and structure as well as formulate and drive process improvements
  • Demonstrated focus on being able to translate data and metrics into predictable, value-add business insight
  • Strong results orientation
  • Experience with SalesForce.com or similar sales tools
  • Experience with Data Warehousing tools
  • Advanced Hyperion or Oracle/Essbase skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change in a matrix organization
  • Must have an outstanding attention to detail and strong process rigor
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines while delivering consistent, accurate and reliable work
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently with broad guidance against a framework of defined business objectives in a matrix environment
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use those skills to drive change
  • Ability to comfortably interact and communicate with all levels of management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient use of MS Office software (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness and ability to travel 10-15% on an annual basis
