Job Description

The mission of the Training Developer is to design and develop innovative and engaging blended learning solutions.

  • Create blended learning solutions which facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an efficient and effective manner
  • Develop a training roadmap
  • Develop and maintain the technical training material
  • Manage blended learning projects to ensure key milestones are achieved, including scripting, storyboards and actors where relevant
  • Continuous focus
    • Improve processes and output formats;
    • Quality awareness on the Technical Training & Documentation

With the end goal to ensure high quality output allowing learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an efficient and effective manner and contributing to customer satisfaction.

The Position

As Training Developer you will design, develop, conduct and organize blended training programs to improve employee performance and ensure organizational productivity. This includes instructional design, quality assurance and project management

Interact with the managers and trainers to help plan and conceptualize all learning material with educational designs. Consult with subject matter experts across all departments on all sites to plan, design and deliver blended learning materials to ensure consistency on learning projects and training offerings.

Specific deliverables associated with this position include:

  • Initiate, coordinate improvement activities which leads to high quality output;
  • Participation in PMP projects to ensure timely involvement and impact analysis on training and documentation;
  • Ensure efficient ways of working to contribute to customer satisfaction;
  • Interact and align with (external) projects to ensure efficient implementations of e.g. new tools and processes;
  • Follow new developments on your area of expertise
  • Work with Subject matter Experts and identify target audience‚Äôs training needs, state instructional end goals and create content that matches
  • Project manage blended learning projects to ensure key milestones are achieved, including scripting, storyboards and actors where relevant

Requirements

  • Experience with state of the art training methods;
  • Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models;
  • Didactical skills for designing and developing blended learning modules
  • Experience with development and design of E-Learning programs;
  • Combination of both theoretical and practical skills;
  • Ability to deal with changes effectively;
  • Self-starter who is also highly productive when not supervised;
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively to a broad variety of audiences;
  • Must possess working knowledge of effective project management;
  • Understanding business circumstances and is able to integrate them into executional reality;
  • Fluent in English (verbal and in writing). Other language skills are an asset;
  • International experience preferred.
