Our Swindon operations offers full commercial manufacturing services for sterile liquids, high-potency products, as well as lyophilized vial forms. About the job
This role is designed to build on Patheon’s place within Thermo Fisher by seeing our contracts through the contract management lifecycle. This means reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of customer facing agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), record keeping, monitoring, change management and more.
You will hold the vital position of serving between our external clients and internal stakeholders; Legal, Operations and Business Management during the negotiation phase of a project. Managing and communicating all business issues related to the client’s commercial and development requirements. Developing action plans for each client in order to optimize contract language to meet internal company objectives. Negotiating contentious issues at multiple levels within the client’s organization and be able to interpret contract requirements, obligations and risk exposure.
You will appreciate that maintaining good records, even after the contract has been seen through to execution, is critical. We are looking for someone who can provide direction and guidance related to the contracting process; coordinating processes to track contract flow, renewal and termination dates so our record management serves as an audit trail and evidence.

Alongside this you will hold a Bachelors degree in Science, Business or a related field and have substantial experience working in a commercial contract management role in the pharmaceutical industry. This will have given you broad knowledge of applicable contractual and legal concepts involved in the CMO industry and the ability to manage clients through even the trickiest of negotiations.
