Job Title: HPLC Sales Specialist, Italy
Reports To: GM Sales Italy
Group/Division: Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD)
Career Band: VI
Location: Italy: Remote


Position Summary
  • Manages and controls all Sales activities for the related HPLC Products Line (Liquid Chromatography)
  • Weekly accurate forecasting activities
  • Contributes to the overall Sales goals by achieving Country quarterly and annual targets
  • Comply to the company T&C and financial guidelines
  • Responsible to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction/loyalty

Main Activities / Responsibilities
  • Achieve Country quarterly and annual sales plan for bookings and revenues for HPLC PL
  • Responsible to fully implement all business processes, procedures and programs related to the Commercial Organisation
  • Manages sales activities of the Country and ensures timely and high quality sales reporting like leads funnel and forecast
  • Set up common sales/marketing activities metrics for the Sales reps/Agent
  • Always ensure highest professional relationship with our customer base to achieve customer loyalty and escalate issues if necessary to solve critical tasks in the fastest way possible.
  • Develop sales synergies with other sales teams
  • Follow our ethical business conduct guidance
  • Manage day to day operations like holiday administration, training, expenses reports
  • To work closely with Post Sales Services organization for optimizing the “one” face to the customer

  • Ability to liaise with people at all levels (factories, sales operations, internal support functions)
  • Ability to facilitate best practices workshops
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Team player
  • Willingness to travel in Italy and Europe


Job Qualifications
  • Professional background in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Engineering or related subjects
  • Solid experience in Sales
  • Strong Leadership and management skills
  • Good Product Knowledge in Chromatography
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different
  • priorities
  • Excellent inter-personal, self-motivational and negotiating skills
  • Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
  • Clean driving license and availability to travel approx.70% of the time
  • Job location: preferably Milan or Rome, covering all Italian territory
