Position: TSS HID Mexico

Band level: 6

Territory: Mexico and Caribbean

Objective:

Be responsible for technical sales of Human Identification product line sales in the territory by working with Distributors and direct customers; and also develop new business opportunities and drives execution and closing.

Responsibilities:

Achievement of assigned sales quotas for Human Identification product line in the territory, and make precise sales forecast Prospect new business opportunities in the territory by promoting products and services through customer visit, presentation and demonstration, to close deals in forensic and paternity testing segments. Gather sales analysis, market trends, competitor information, and customer needs to support the implementation of successful selling strategies. Teaming with Distributors on sales calls and acting as a technical expert to provide prospective customers with technical information to assist with their purchasing decision; Teaming with Field Applications Specialist to coordinate product demonstrations in the field and applications training to customers to improve their success rate working with Thermo HID solutions. Teaming with Marketing people to build events/meetings/congresses in the area of interest Teaming with HID Latam organization to develop HID strategy for the Latam Region Work as liaise between customers and distributors with ThermoFisher organization. Support distributors on quotations Travel in the territory as required by the role, at least 50% of the time.

Education:

  • Graduation in Biology, Pharmacy, Biomedicine and related field
  • Advanced English and Spanish. Portuguese (nice to know)
  • Technical knowledge in Molecular Biology (must have)
  • Technical knowledge in Human Identification
  • Sales Experience of 2 - 3 years.

Experience:

Requires a minimum of 2-3 years of proven sales success. Preferred experience in the related market segment: Life Science, Clinical Analysis Laboratory, Criminalistic.
