For our Sales- and Service organization Microgenics GmbH we are currently looking for a

Field IT Connectivity Specialist (m/f)
Location: Home-Office Position (requiring travels within Europe)

In this position you are part of a highly innovative testing solution specifically designed for the clinical hospital and reference labs. By leveraging LCMS technology in a turnkey fully automated system, customers will benefit from best in class sensitivity and ease of use.


· Work independently in a field based European support team and act as an expert on IT system connectivity to a mass
spectrometry product dedicated for Clinical laboratories involving: Installations, Laboratory Information Systems (LIS),
Middleware solutions and Remote diagnostic solutions.
· Provide technical assistance to the support team and customer IT departments with installation planning and system setup both
remotely and onsite.
· Act as the remote diagnostics/service solution owner, including continuous improvement of the solution.
· Contribute to knowledge base to allow continued improvement of work efficiency and effectiveness.
· Effectively communicate with key liaison groups including: Customers, Hotline, Field Application Specialist, Support Specialist,
Service manager, Sales Representatives.


· Degree in information technology or related area, or professional education/experience with several years of working experience.
· ideally several years of work experience in IT support or in IT implementation.
· A strong understanding of LIS systems and protocols (ASTM and HL7) would be beneficial
· Familiar with network security standards.
· Proven ability to diagnose and resolve problems in software communication systems.
· Leading or conducting implementation of remote diagnostics solution is a benefit.
· Ability to work independently paired with willingness to travel across Europe (est. 25-50 %).
· Have effective communication skills in English (German, French and other European languages is a plus).
