Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, drive and implement strategic planning, product roadmaps and portfolio execution to drive healthy growth.
  • Drive global tactics and programs built on market intelligence, clinical and health economic evidence, with a strong link between Strategy and Business Development, Global R&D, Global Operations and Commercial Organizations.
  • Develop and generate marketing content and material that supports global campaigns and product launches enabling the organization to increase long-term ambitions and growth.
  • Effectively lead the global marketing organization, consisting of Evidence Generation, Portfolio Lifecycle, Marketing Operations and Digital Experience teams.
  • Lead the Marketing Leadership Team in a matrixed operating environment.
  • Assume full accountability for all marketing related costs and investments in accordance with the Divisional Strategic Plan (STRAP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
  • Drive creation, development, refresh and effective utilization of customer-facing marketing and commercial program materials across all relevant channels (e.g. events, collateral and digital).
  • Shape, communicate and enforce brand identity principles and guidelines in conjunction with corporate marketing.
  • Be an active participant and influential member of the IDD leadership team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • You have been working in Strategic Marketing leadership roles for at least 10 years.
  • You have at least 5 years’ experience within the in-vitro diagnostics industry
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive career growth and experience in marketing, sales and/or strategy development leadership roles in the life science/medical device/ life sciences sector strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing demand generation programs across multiple geographies.
  • Experience with building/developing technology brands in a competitive space.
  • Strong leadership experience in multinational company with demonstrated ability to lead effectively and drive results in a matrixed management operating environment.
  • Demonstrated collaboration with clinical and/or health economic evidence generation teams to develop evidence generation strategies to accelerate revenue growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrable ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%

Non-negotiable hiring criteria:

  • 10 years’ experience in Strategic Marketing leadership roles.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders in matrix environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrable ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Ability to travel.
