Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Resource should have right attitude, self-starter; 1-2 years experience ; knowledge of the lab environment; flexibility in supporting many different scope areas and be comfortable in a BSL2+ environment .

Our initial scope of work includes:
Inventory Management
Restocking of lab consumables and solvents at designated inventory locations
Stock areas will be established as part of implementation
Order Management
Perform ordering of supplies on behalf of end users
Provide general customer service on site
Dock management
Primary point of contact for inbound materials
Perform inbound receiving and goods receipts into customer system
BSL2 Safety checks
Monitoring bench decontamination logs ensuring scientists have performed decon and signed off. Perform wipe down and sign off as needed.
Routine safety checks on eye wash and shower stations
Chemical tracking Services
Inbound chemical container registration and barcoding leveraging customer system
Support container disposal process
Perform routine bench audits to ensure data accuracy in system
Upload SDS as required
Glasswash Services
Vendor escorting
Other Lab Concierge actvites
Other duties to include:
Asset Management support (after further build out of site)

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must possess a High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Computer literate
Proficient in Microsoft Office program, especially Excel
Work Overtime, as required
Must have reliable transportation to travel between customer sites.
Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, with assistance

Possess a strong desire to serve the customer, and the interpersonal skills to deal with various levels of personnel at the customer site including providing clear, concise communication with customers.
Collaborate with the on-site commercial team.
Deliver excellent customer service to include maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines
Strong problem solving ability
Displays a high level of confidentiality for both customer and Thermo Fisher Scientific
Works primarily at customer locations, in office environment to include cubicles and/or in and around shipping/receiving docks, stock rooms, storage locations and laboratory environments.
May be required to work independently at a customer location.
