Job Description

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing strategy and plans for industrial logger products. These products are designed to monitor a wide variety of measurements throughout the Environmental, Wastewater, Geotechnical, structural, Academic/Research and Manufacturing Industries. Your primary responsibility will be to enable the sales team to sell products with the required level of knowledge, marketing material and tools so the business can grow profitability and in line with the marketing strategy.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain & communicate the marketing plan for sharing key activities and market insights
  • Maintain tactical marketing calendar supporting key activities
  • Identify key target markets for product range and define key selling proposition
  • Identifying all marketing touch-points for creating awareness/interest/desire/action – with focus to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain appropriate pricing strategy for the target market
  • Channel Product relationship management
  • Ownership of, use and participation in all forums supporting product management including, but not limited to e-commerce & Web, Print literature, Sales webinar calls
  • Training schedules, Marketing templates, guidelines and tools
  • Identify, set and maintain the marketing objectives for growth using the matrix: new product /new market /existing market /existing product
  • Develop and arm channel partners with relevant tools and collateral for achieving growth targets – including maintain current information on social media, website etc
  • Submit monthly report of key indicators for monitoring progress to targets:
  • Sales to new vs existing customers, product, list pricing and ROI on key activities

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • University degree in marketing, science, engineering or related field is essential.
  • Strong understanding for process instrumentation/sensors/RTU’s
  • 5+ years of industry experience
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong understanding of marketing concepts
  • Prior experience executing successful marketing plans within a commercial environment is advantageous
  • Ability to think strategically and capable of transforming strategy into operational tasks
  • A creative flair and passion for marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise based on key result areas, to manage time effectively and meet agreed deadlines
  • Initiative taker who has the ability to work autonomously, and has an enthusiastic, energetic and positive attitude
  • A team player who is skilled in influencing and driving action through others
