We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Associate for our Clinical Trials sales team. As an inside sales associate, you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making multiple calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, and qualifying prospects.


  • Respond to prospective customer inquiries with the information requested
  • Research companies/organizations that may be in need of supply chain activities and require Fisher Clinical Services related offerings
  • Qualify leads in support of sales growth in core services and comparator drug activity
  • Support Request for Quotes (RFQ’s), Request for Information (RFI’s) responses when needed
  • Serve as a liaison with marketing and associated marketing activities in identifying potential new customers
  • Follows up with all assigned pending quote activity, identifying the actions needed to close sales opportunities on time
  • Maintain customer related metric activity in SalesForce.com or other related CRM systems
  • Captures business metrics and tracks; new leads and conversion rates, quote frequency and value, contracts won and lost
  • Provide timely reports on activities, operations and forecast data for assessment of progress on meeting objectives
  • Expedites legal agreements when needed to shorten the overall sales cycle and increase win rates
  • Host customer visits by preparing agendas, scheduling the personnel needed at the meeting(s), conduct capability presentations and guide site tours
  • Assist in training as well as prepare training schedules for new Account Executives
  • Monitor and communicate client pipeline activity to senior management
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis reporting for all assigned and prospective accounts
  • Prepare sales and revenue reports to support backlog related activities as well as AOP planning and S&OP meetings
  • Assist in gathering data to support Territory Reviews, Business Reviews and Commercial Reviews
  • Research business & market data (analysis) to support changes in business strategies
  • Participate in project management team meetings when needed
  • Maintain sales folders and files on various computer drives/web portals and Sales Force.com
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Apply Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility affecting services
  • Demonstrate and promote the company vision and Thermo Fisher 4 I’s
  • Participate in PPI training and team process improvement initiatives
  • Other business related tasks as requested

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration or 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in SalesForce or other CRM
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
  • Biotechnology or Clinical Trials familiarity preferred
