This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual, who operates with a sense of urgency to create and lead a Practical Process Improvement (PPI) focused culture across our Australia and NZ business, championing and driving initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

Partnering with the ANZ leadership team, you will drive process improvements and costs savings initiatives in order to accelerate a culture of change and represent ANZ with the Global PPI team working to identify ways to accelerate culture change and embed the PPI Business System as a ‘way-of-life’.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and drive a strategic plan aligned with the overall organisation strategy, utilising PPI Methodology
  • Work with commercial leaders, where appropriate, to partner with key customers to overcome challenges by using PPI business systems and acting as facilitator to lead outcomes
  • Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Create and lead an informal network of PPI change agents across divisions and locations
  • Lead a continuous improvement culture that encourages employee involvement and ownership
  • Prioritise PPI projects based on Return on Investment for the business, our customers, and our employees
  • Challenge organisational leaders as necessary to create an action-biased culture of continuous improvement and accountability
  • Identify best practices within or outside the company, and serve as a conduit for best-practice sharing
  • Own and manage the PPI project pipeline to deliver goals
  • Partner with Finance and other personnel to evaluate project results including financial impacts, customer impacts and employee impacts

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an operational / manufacturing /engineering environment
  • PPI Process Manager or equivalent certification such as Lean Methodology – desirable
  • Project Management Leadership, 5S or 6 Sigma certification or black belt
  • Achievement oriented and an ability to learn and adapt to changing business environments
  • Experience in working in a global and matrix organisation with a decentralised model
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills – with focus to PowerPoint, xlsx and project management
