Job Title: Tender Sales Specialist
Location: Monza, Italy

Major Responsibilities
  • Ensure the achievement/overachievement of the sale target set by maintaining, identifying and developing sales opportunities through tenders, competing within the stated territory and/or named accounts. Ensure that all necessary resources needed are used effectively in order to win a tender in favor of the Company.
  • Build and maintain relationships by telephone with account managers in an assigned territory to allow product and service information to be communicated, and strategic information to be gathered.
  • Assure a specific management of low value/potential customers out of the databank, qualifying their business potential in order to develop business opportunities and growth.
  • Works together with field sales and inside sales to coordinate the approach on tenders as well as qualifies leads on high value accounts, to support in tender response coordination, in all in-bound sales enquiry qualification and quote generation, in customer demonstration coordination.
  • Develop and maintain detailed customer/prospect records and ensure that the relevant mailing list and database reflects this information (e.g. Customer Contacts Database and Marketing Database)
  • Analysis tenders lost and put in place a strategy with account manager/inside sales to ensure the tenders to be win again in the next round. Provide details information on the lost tenders towards LSG submission tenders. Ensure feedback from sales on the provide information.
  • Help to increase the revenue on existing and lost tenders by recommended to the account manager new product launch and recommend new product according to the workflow
  • Help to renew Equotes related to tenders and work closely with Pricing and customer services

Required Qualifications:
  • Recognized qualification in Life Sciences essential. An academic degree (BSc) in science subjects a plus.
  • Good telephone manner & tone, with excellent listening & questioning communication skills. Self-motivated. Practical understanding of the sales process & buying cycle.
  • Computer knowledge eg Microsoft package and SAP.
  • Command of native language and good English language, both in writing and orally.
  • Previous telesales/sales experience desirable. Newly qualified Graduate.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to meet customers. Ability to travel overseas occasionally to attend meetings and training sessions.
  • Work is office based and from time to time performed in the field and the environment varies from driving conditions to visits on customer sites and attends seminars.
  • Good understanding of the Italian market and like admin work. Open to help sales people and provide excellent support. Need to be organized and Excel knowledge is really a plus.
  • Like to meet time and objective by aligning team to his/her own goal and work towards the assigned one by engaging several teams to his/her own goal.
